As first time parents, my wife and I did not have a lot of experience taking care of our newborn daughter, and my wife was still recovering from a c-section surgery. Zhou Tai Tai introduced us to Wang Fu Li Ah Yi, who came in and really helped our transition to parenthood become much easier and taught my wife and I tips to help with the baby. The three meals a day that she cooked were consistently delicious and nutritious, and my wife's milk production has been good throughout the month. Her food could sometimes be a little salty, but she would make adjustments after receiving feedback from my wife and I. Some highlights included the oxtail soups, the steamed fish and tofu/fish soup, and all her dishes that used lotus root or snow peas. Wang Fu Li Ah Yi was also very good at taking care of my newborn daughter, and my daughter has gained weight and looked healthy during the past month. I could tell that Wang Ah Yi genuinely cared about my daughter. Whenever my daughter cried, Wang Ah Yi would drop what she was doing, even on her break time, and come check up on her. Wang Ah Yi was always better at soothing my daughter when she was really upset and Wang Ah Yi would often sing to my daughter to help her relax and go to sleep. It is important that at least one person can speak Mandarin well to communicate with Wang Ah Yi since she doesn't know English. My Chinese is not that good and I had to use Google Translate to figure out some grocery shopping. In general, Wang Ah Yi is easy to get along with. She has her own way of doing things and isn't the best expert at technology, but she is willing to adapt, learn, and accommodate requests that my wife and I had. We got along well for her entire stay. I am glad that I was able to get an experienced nanny like Wang Fu Li Ah Yi through Zhou Tai Tai's agency and would highly recommend these chinese postpartum nanny services to others. |
